Purpose of the Association
The association is dedicated exclusively and directly to the well-being of the general public by promoting a method that supports physical and mental health. This method is Vipassana meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. To this end, Vipassana meditation courses are regularly organized.
Target Group
There is no specific target group. People of all age groups, different social backgrounds and nationalities, various religious affiliations, and educational levels participate in Vipassana courses.
Funding
The association finances its activities exclusively through donations. No fees are charged for participation in the courses, not even to cover the cost of food or accommodation. All expenses are covered by donations from those who have completed a course themselves, experienced the positive effects of Vipassana meditation, and now wish to enable others to have the same opportunity.
Association Work
All activities within the association (e.g., course organization, facility management, bookkeeping, etc.) are carried out on a voluntary basis.
