Who can take part in the courses?
Children and young people aged 8-18 can take part. There are courses for boys, girls and mixed courses. A team of helpers in the kitchen and as carers will accompany you during the course. Specially trained meditation teachers will help you practise meditation.
How does a course like this work?
Basically, this course is about gaining experience with Ānāpāna meditation. We meditate together 8 times a day in a large meditation hall.
We fill the time in between with games, sports and creative activities, or we play theatre and read stories. And when it’s not raining, we use the large garden at Dhamma Dvara.
There are delicious vegetarian menus at mealtimes, so there is something for everyone.
You can find the exact daily programme here.
If you would like to take part in a course, you can register in the following way:
- Go to the course page
- Click on ‘Register’ for the course of your choice
- Fill out the first online form yourself
- Have your parents fill out the second online form
- If everything has worked out, you should soon receive a confirmation by e-mail
To ensure timely processing, we would be pleased if we receive your registration at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. Thank you very much!
When do the courses take place?
The courses at Dhamma Dvara usually take place four times a year.
You can find all the dates in the Dhamma Dvara and Dhamma Sampatti course programme.
